Official Chassis Copper Alloy Plate Heat-Dissipation Fins VESA Mounting 8010 Fan Supported

The F5's defining thermal feature is its internal copper-alloy heat-conduction plate. The plate transfers processor heat toward the aluminum chassis, where the external heat-dissipation fins provide additional surface area for thermal transfer.

For sustained workloads or environments that require additional airflow, the F5 also supports an optional 12V 4-pin 80 × 80 × 10 mm 8010 cooling fan. The fan is sold separately.

OPNsense, pfSense, OpenWrt and Proxmox Compatibility

The F5 supports OPNsense, pfSense, OpenWrt, Proxmox, Linux, Ubuntu, Debian, ESXi, Windows, and other compatible x86 operating systems. Its six physical network interfaces make it suitable for firewall routing, VLAN segmentation, Multi-WAN, VPN gateways, virtualized network services, and home lab deployments.

Firewall & Routing Deploy OPNsense, pfSense, OpenWrt, Multi-WAN, VPN gateways, and VLAN routing.
Home Lab Run virtual firewalls, containers, lightweight servers, and network services on one compact platform.
Small Network Separate NAS systems, access points, cameras, office devices, guests, and IoT equipment.

Front and Rear I/O Connectivity

The F5 provides front and rear interfaces for networking, local system installation, display output, USB peripherals, storage access, and power. Six Intel i226-V 2.5GbE LAN interfaces form the core of the system's firewall and routing connectivity.
