The CWWK F18 and F20 are 6-port 2.5GbE firewall mini PCs built around the same MBX-AD12 REV 2.0 platform. Both models combine Intel Core processors, six Intel i226-V network interfaces, dual-channel DDR5 memory, two native M.2 NVMe slots, dual SATA expansion and USB4 connectivity. F18 uses a fanless chassis with passive copper heat-pipe cooling, while F20 uses an active CPU cooling system with a copper heat pipe and fan.

Intel Core i3-1215U, i5-1235U and i5-1240P Options

F18 and F20 are available with Intel 12th Gen Core processor options for firewall, routing, virtualization and multi-service workloads.

Intel Core i3-1215U Suitable for multi-port firewall, routing, VPN and general network-service deployments.
Intel Core i5-1235U Provides additional multi-task performance for virtualization, containers and multiple simultaneous services.
Intel Core i5-1240P Designed for users requiring higher compute capacity for heavier multi-service and sustained workloads.

Six Intel i226-V 2.5GbE Network Ports

Six onboard Intel i226-V controllers provide six independent 2.5GbE RJ45 interfaces for multi-WAN, segmented LAN, VLAN, gateway and virtualized networking environments.

6 × 2.5GbE RJ45 Six multi-gigabit ports support more complex network topologies than standard four-port appliances.
Intel i226-V Dedicated Intel 2.5GbE controllers are used across all six Ethernet interfaces.
Flexible Network Segmentation Suitable for WAN, LAN, VLAN, guest, IoT and isolated lab network separation.

MBX-AD12 REV 2.0 Platform with Dual-Channel DDR5

Dual Native M.2 NVMe and Dual SATA Storage

The MBX-AD12 REV 2.0 provides two native M.2 NVMe interfaces plus two SATA 3.0 connectors and a separate M.2 E-Key WiFi slot.

M.2 SSD1 — PCIe 4.0 x4 Primary M.2 2280 NVMe interface connected through a PCIe 4.0 x4 storage path.
M.2 SSD2 — PCIe 3.0 x4 Second native M.2 2280 NVMe interface using a PCIe 3.0 x4 connection.
2 × SATA 3.0 Two onboard SATA 3.0 connectors provide additional SATA SSD or HDD expansion.

The M.2 E-Key WiFi interface is separate from both native M.2 NVMe slots. Installing a WiFi module therefore does not require giving up either NVMe interface.

PCIe 4.0 x4 + PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe Architecture

The two native NVMe interfaces use separate PCIe resource paths. M.2 SSD1 uses PCIe 4.0 x4, while M.2 SSD2 uses PCIe 3.0 x4.

Primary PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe The first M.2 interface provides the highest-bandwidth native storage path for the primary NVMe SSD.
Expandable PCIe 3.0 x4 Path The second M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 resource can be divided into four PCIe x1 signals for use with a compatible multi-NVMe expansion board.
