Flagship Aluminum Chassis with Wider Heat Dissipation Area

17.8 × 12.6 × 5.5 cm
7.01 × 4.96 × 2.17 in
Flagship Chassis Aluminum Alloy Fanless More Cooling Fins Internal Heat Pipe Dust-Resistant

The F3 uses CWWK's Flagship aluminum alloy chassis with a larger heat-dissipation surface and more external cooling fins. The thermally conductive enclosure transfers heat away from the internal components and spreads it across the finned chassis for passive dissipation.

Compared with the smaller enclosure options in the same Elite motherboard family, the Flagship chassis provides a wider passive cooling area. This allows the F3 to maintain fanless operation while providing stronger overall thermal performance.

Internal Heat Pipe and Passive Thermal Design

In addition to the large aluminum cooling surface, the F3 uses an internal heat pipe to transfer heat from the processor area toward the chassis cooling structure. Heat is absorbed at the source, transferred through the heat pipe, and distributed to the larger aluminum heat-dissipation area.

01 Heat Transfer The internal heat pipe moves thermal energy away from the processor area toward the chassis cooling structure.
02 Large Cooling Surface The Flagship enclosure provides a wider finned surface area for transferring accumulated heat to the surrounding air.
03 Passive Cooling Heat pipe transfer and the aluminum enclosure work together to dissipate heat without requiring a continuously running fan.

F3 vs F1 and F2 Chassis Design

F1, F2, and F3 use the same Elite motherboard architecture, so their processor, networking, memory, and core storage capabilities are closely related. Their primary difference is the chassis and thermal design. F1 prioritizes a compact High-Y enclosure, F2 uses a larger Large-Back chassis, and F3 uses the Flagship enclosure with a wider cooling surface and internal heat-pipe-assisted thermal transfer.

F1 145.6 × 125.6 × 53.6 mm Compact High-Y chassis with Y-profile passive cooling fins.
F2 155 × 135 × 65 mm Larger Large-Back chassis with increased enclosure volume and stronger passive heat dissipation.
F3 178 × 126 × 55 mm Flagship chassis with a wider cooling surface, more heat-dissipation fins, and internal heat-pipe-assisted thermal transfer.

Internal Layout and Bottom Mounting Design

The F3 installs the Elite motherboard inside the Flagship chassis while retaining access to DDR5 memory, dual NVMe storage, SATA connectivity, network interfaces, and optional cooling expansion. The bottom mounting structure also supports compatible VESA installation.

8010 Fan and 2.5-Inch SATA Installation

The F3 operates as a fanless system but also supports an optional 12V 4-pin 80 × 80 × 10 mm 8010 cooling fan when additional airflow is required. The internal layout also supports installation of a 2.5-inch SATA drive for additional local storage alongside the onboard M.2 NVMe SSDs.

VESA Mounting and Dust-Resistant Design

The F3 supports VESA mounting for space-efficient installation behind compatible displays, on mounting plates, or in other supported locations. Its Flagship chassis also incorporates a dust-resistant structural design while maintaining the external surface area required for passive heat dissipation.

OPNsense, pfSense, OpenWrt and Proxmox Compatibility

The F3 supports OPNsense, pfSense, OpenWrt, Proxmox, Linux, Ubuntu, Debian, ESXi, Windows, and other compatible x86 operating systems. Its four physical 2.5GbE network interfaces are suitable for firewall routing, VLAN segmentation, VPN gateways, virtualized network services, and home lab deployments.

Firewall & Routing Deploy OPNsense, pfSense, OpenWrt, VPN gateways, VLAN routing, and multi-interface network services.
Home Lab Run virtual firewalls, containers, lightweight server workloads, and network services on the Elite N-Series platform.
Fanless Continuous Operation Use the Flagship chassis and internal heat-pipe-assisted cooling where zero fan noise and stronger passive thermal performance are preferred.

Front and Rear I/O Connectivity

The F3 provides front and rear interfaces for networking, system installation, display output, USB peripherals, storage access, and power. Four Intel i226 2.5GbE LAN ports provide the primary network connectivity for firewall, routing, and segmented network deployments.
