It supports Intel N100, N150, Core i3-N305, and Core 3 N355 processors, four Intel i226 2.5GbE LAN ports, DDR5 memory, dual M.2 NVMe storage, 2.5-inch SATA installation, VESA mounting, optional 8010 fan installation, and a passive thermal structure using a heat-conduction plate and internal heat pipe.

Intel N100, N150, N305 and N355 Processor Options

The F12 supports Intel N100, N150, Core i3-N305, and Core 3 N355 processor configurations. N100 and N150 provide a low-power platform for firewall, routing, VLAN, and VPN workloads, while the 8-core N305 and N355 provide additional processing resources for virtualization, containers, and multi-service home lab deployments.

N100 4 cores / 4 threads for OPNsense, pfSense, OpenWrt, routing, VLAN segmentation, and low-power network services.
N150 4 cores / 4 threads for firewall, VPN, routing, and everyday multi-interface networking.
N305 8 cores / 8 threads for Proxmox, containers, virtual firewalls, VPN services, and heavier network workloads.
N355 8 cores / 8 threads for more demanding virtualization and multi-service home lab deployments.

Four Intel i226 2.5GbE Network Ports

Four Intel i226 2.5GbE LAN ports provide independent physical interfaces for WAN, LAN, VLANs, NAS systems, wireless access points, cameras, IoT equipment, and isolated network segments.

4 × 2.5GbE Use dedicated interfaces for WAN, LAN, NAS, access points, cameras, IoT devices, or separate lab networks.
Multi-WAN Configure multiple network interfaces for separate upstream connections, failover, or independent gateway routes.
Network Segmentation Separate trusted devices, servers, guests, IoT equipment, and test environments through physical ports or VLANs.

Elite Motherboard, DDR5 and Dual NVMe Storage

The F12 uses CWWK's Elite 4-port N-Series motherboard. The board provides four Intel i226 2.5GbE network interfaces, one SO-DIMM DDR5 memory slot, two M.2 NVMe SSD positions, and two SATA interfaces for operating systems, logs, virtual machines, containers, and additional local storage.

Official Chassis with Clean Rectangular Design

17.83 × 14.54 × 5.87 cm
7.02 × 5.72 × 2.31 in
Official Chassis Fanless Heat Pipe Heat-Conduction Plate Dust-Resistant VESA Mounting

The F12 uses CWWK's Official chassis with a clean, regular rectangular profile. Compared with the more specialized High-Y, Large-Back, and Flagship enclosure shapes used by other Elite motherboard models, the F12 emphasizes a conventional enclosure layout with balanced proportions and a straightforward external design.

The 178.3 × 145.4 × 58.7 mm enclosure provides space for the Elite motherboard, dual NVMe storage, 2.5-inch SATA installation, passive cooling hardware, VESA mounting, and optional fan expansion while maintaining a fanless system design.

Heat-Conduction Plate and Internal Heat Pipe

The F12 passive cooling system combines a heat-conduction plate, internal heat pipe, and the external chassis structure. Heat generated around the processor area is transferred through the internal thermal components and distributed toward the enclosure for passive dissipation.

Heat-Conduction Plate The internal thermal plate provides a direct path for transferring heat away from the processor area.
Internal Heat Pipe The heat pipe transfers thermal energy from the internal heat source toward the chassis cooling structure.
Passive Cooling The thermal components and enclosure work together to dissipate heat without requiring a continuously running fan.

F12 vs F1, F2 and F3 Chassis Design

F1, F2, F3, and F12 use the same Elite motherboard architecture, so their processor, networking, memory, and core storage capabilities are closely related. The primary distinction between these models is the enclosure and thermal structure.

F1 145.6 × 125.6 × 53.6 mm Compact High-Y chassis with Y-profile passive cooling.
F2 155 × 135 × 65 mm Large-Back enclosure with a larger chassis volume and external heat-dissipation structure.
F3 178 × 126 × 55 mm Flagship enclosure with a wider finned cooling surface and internal heat-pipe-assisted thermal transfer.
F12 178.3 × 145.4 × 58.7 mm Official chassis with a clean rectangular profile, heat-conduction plate, internal heat pipe, and fanless design.

Internal Layout and Bottom Mounting Design

The F12 installs the Elite motherboard inside the Official chassis while retaining access to DDR5 memory, dual NVMe storage, SATA connectivity, network interfaces, passive thermal components, and optional cooling expansion. The bottom mounting structure also supports compatible VESA installation.

8010 Fan and 2.5-Inch SATA Installation

The F12 operates as a fanless system but supports an optional 12V 4-pin 80 × 80 × 10 mm 8010 cooling fan when additional airflow is required. The chassis also supports installation of a 2.5-inch SATA drive for additional local storage alongside the onboard M.2 NVMe SSDs.

OPNsense, pfSense, OpenWrt and Proxmox Compatibility

The F12 supports OPNsense, pfSense, OpenWrt, Proxmox, Linux, Ubuntu, Debian, ESXi, Windows, and other compatible x86 operating systems. Its four physical 2.5GbE interfaces are suitable for firewall routing, VLAN segmentation, VPN gateways, home labs, and virtualized network services.

Firewall & Routing Deploy OPNsense, pfSense, OpenWrt, VPN gateways, VLAN routing, and multi-interface network services.
Home Lab Run virtual firewalls, containers, lightweight server workloads, and network services on the Elite N-Series platform.
Fanless Network Appliance Use the passive Official chassis where zero fan noise and a conventional rectangular enclosure are preferred.

Front and Rear I/O Connectivity

The F12 provides front and rear interfaces for networking, local system installation, display output, USB peripherals, storage access, and power. Four Intel i226 2.5GbE LAN ports provide the primary connectivity for firewall, routing, and segmented network deployments.
