Built for high-density storage and high-speed networking, the CWWK CW-M27 combines the Intel Xeon D-2700 platform with 12 SATA drive connections, 8 M.2 NVMe slots, six 10GbE network ports, ECC DDR4 memory support and AST2500 IPMI management.

The Intel Xeon D-2700 processor family is designed for embedded servers, networking and storage workloads. Across the processor models listed below, the family spans 4 to 20 cores and 65W to 118W TDP, with Intel DL Boost (VNNI), AVX-512 and high-speed I/O capabilities.

12 SATA + 8 M.2 NVMe Storage Expansion
Three SFF-8643 connectors provide up to twelve SATA 3.0 drive connections via compatible breakout cables. Eight onboard M.2 NVMe interfaces enable additional SSD storage, while a separate mSATA slot offers another system-storage option.

Six 10GbE Data Ports for High-Bandwidth Networking
Dual 10GbE RJ45 copper ports and four 10GbE SFP+ ports support high-speed network connectivity for NAS, storage-server and network-appliance applications. A separate Gigabit RJ45 management interface is provided for IPMI.
Eight DDR4 ECC U-DIMM Slots
Eight DDR4 U-DIMM sockets support ECC memory configurations across four memory channels, with two DIMM slots per channel. Supported speed and total installed capacity depend on the actual Xeon D-2700 processor and validated DIMMs.

PCIe 4.0 Expansion Architecture

Motherboard Layout and Connectivity
The white 12-layer PCB brings together DDR4 ECC memory, dense SATA and NVMe connectivity, two PCIe expansion connectors and the dedicated AST2500 management subsystem. Protective circuitry is specified for external USB, SFP+ and RJ45 ports.
Rear I/O and Management Ports
External connectivity includes six 10GbE data ports, a dedicated Gigabit management RJ45, two USB 3.0 connectors and maintenance controls. A VGA connector is listed among the board interfaces in the datasheet.
Extended Micro-ATX Board Dimensions
The CW-M27 uses a 244 × 258 mm extended M-ATX layout. Verify chassis clearance, mounting-hole positions and cooling compatibility before installation; it is larger than standard 244 × 244 mm Micro-ATX.
