The CWWK F13 is an 8-port 2.5GbE firewall mini PC based on an Intel N-Series platform. It combines four onboard Intel i226-V 2.5GbE ports with four additional Intel i226-V ports through the PCIe expansion interface, providing eight physical 2.5GbE network ports for routing, Multi-WAN, VLAN, VPN and virtualization deployments.

Intel N100, N150, N200 and N305 Processor Options

The F13 supports Intel N100, N150, N200 and Core i3-N305 processor configurations, covering low-power firewall and routing workloads as well as virtualization, VPN and multi-service network environments.

N100 4 cores / 4 threads for firewall, routing, VLAN, VPN and general network services.
N150 4 cores / 4 threads for efficient firewall, gateway and everyday network workloads.
N200 4 cores / 4 threads with additional performance headroom for multi-service deployments.
N305 8 cores / 8 threads for Proxmox, virtual firewalls, containers and heavier network workloads.

Eight Intel i226-V 2.5GbE Network Ports

The F13 provides eight Intel i226-V 2.5GbE RJ45 network ports. Four interfaces are integrated on the motherboard, while four additional ports are provided through the PCIe expansion adapter.

8 × 2.5GbE Eight physical interfaces for WAN, LAN, NAS, access points, cameras, IoT and isolated networks.
Multi-WAN Use multiple physical interfaces for separate upstream connections, failover or independent gateway routes.
Network Segmentation Separate servers, trusted devices, guests, IoT systems and lab networks through physical ports or VLANs.

Shared N-Series Motherboard with DDR5 and PCIe Expansion

The F13 uses the same Intel N-Series motherboard platform as the CWWK S3. The motherboard provides four onboard Intel i226-V 2.5GbE ports, one DDR5 SO-DIMM slot, M.2 NVMe storage, SATA connectivity and a PCIe expansion interface for additional network hardware.

  • 4 × onboard Intel i226-V 2.5GbE
  • 1 × DDR5 SO-DIMM, up to 32GB
  • 1 × M.2 NVMe storage interface
  • 1 × SATA 3.0 interface
  • PCIe x8 physical expansion slot
  • Mini-PCIe / MPE expansion interface

PCIe x8 Physical Slot with PCIe 3.0 x4 Signal

The F13 motherboard uses a physical PCIe x8 expansion slot with a PCIe 3.0 x4 electrical connection. This interface connects the additional four-port Intel i226-V 2.5GbE network adapter.

The PCIe connector is physically x8, but the available electrical signal is PCIe 3.0 x4. It should not be interpreted as a full-bandwidth PCIe x8 electrical connection.

4-Port Intel i226-V 2.5GbE Expansion Card

The F13 expands the motherboard's four onboard 2.5GbE interfaces with four additional Intel i226-V 2.5GbE network ports through the PCIe adapter, creating a total of eight physical 2.5GbE RJ45 ports.

4 × Onboard 2.5GbE Four Intel i226-V interfaces are integrated directly on the motherboard.
4 × Expanded 2.5GbE The PCIe expansion adapter adds four additional Intel i226-V 2.5GbE interfaces.

CPU Heatsink and Turbo Fan Active Cooling

The F13 uses a dedicated CPU heatsink and turbo cooling fan to actively cool the Intel N-Series processor. The fan is part of the CPU thermal system rather than the chassis itself.

Because the supported N100, N150, N200 and N305 processors are low-power platforms, the standard CPU cooling system is generally sufficient for typical firewall, routing and networking workloads.
