The CWWK S4 is a dual 10GbE SFP+ firewall mini PC based on an Intel Alder Lake and Raptor Lake U/P platform. It combines four onboard Intel i226-V 2.5GbE RJ45 ports with an Intel 82599ES dual 10GbE SFP+ PCIe expansion adapter, together with dual DDR5 memory slots, PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe storage and dual SATA connectivity.

PCIe x8 Physical Slot with x4 Electrical Connection

The S4 motherboard uses a physical PCIe x8 expansion slot with an x4 electrical connection. The slot is used for the Intel 82599ES dual 10GbE SFP+ expansion adapter.

The S4 uses CWWK's large aluminum chassis to accommodate the motherboard, Intel 82599ES dual 10GbE SFP+ expansion card, CPU heatsink and turbo fan, storage devices and front and rear I/O assemblies.

The chassis does not use external cooling fins and does not support VESA mounting.

The S4 provides one M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe slot together with two SATA interfaces. Both SATA ports can be used simultaneously, providing flexible storage for the operating system, virtual machines, logs and local network services.
