The CWWK CW-C19 industrial box PC is designed for existing industrial equipment, legacy software and serial communication projects. It is available with an Intel Celeron J1900 or N2840 processor and supports up to 8GB DDR3L memory.

Dual Gigabit LAN, two configurable RS232/RS485 ports, mSATA and SATA storage, GPIO, watchdog recovery and Windows 7 support make it suitable for replacing older control terminals, POS systems, access control computers and embedded equipment PCs.

CW-C19 Industrial Box PC Product Overview

Intel J1900 and N2840 for Legacy Industrial Computing

The CW-C19 is available with Intel Celeron J1900 or N2840 processor options. The J1900 provides four CPU cores for multitasking and continuously running applications, while the dual-core N2840 is suitable for lightweight terminals and established control software.

Integrated Intel HD Graphics supports local display without requiring a separate graphics card. The standard configuration provides HDMI and VGA, while a dual-HDMI version may be available depending on the selected hardware option.

DDR3L and mSATA Support for Industrial PC Replacement

The CW-C19 provides one DDR3L SO-DIMM slot supporting single-channel DDR3L-1600 or DDR3L-1333 memory at 1.35V, with a maximum capacity of 8GB.

For storage, the system includes one full-size mSATA slot and one SATA 2.0 connector. The mSATA SSD can be used as the system drive, while the SATA interface can connect an additional SSD or hard drive for application data, system logs and local files.

Dual LAN and COM Industrial PC for Serial Device Integration

The CW-C19 provides two Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit Ethernet ports with Wake-on-LAN and PXE Boot. The two network interfaces can connect separate device and management networks or different industrial network segments.

Two external DB9 serial ports operate as RS232 interfaces by default. COM1 and COM2 can be switched to RS485 mode through their corresponding onboard jumpers.

A hardware watchdog can reset the system when the operating system or application stops responding. Four GPIO input/output channels are also available for basic digital signal interaction.

The motherboard supports AT and ATX power modes, including automatic startup after power restoration.

Fanless Industrial Box PC Cooling and Chassis Design

The CW-C19 uses a fanless cooling structure with a dedicated CPU heatsink. With no mechanical CPU fan, the system reduces fan noise, moving-part wear and dust drawn into the enclosure.

The compact 120 × 120mm motherboard platform, 12V DC input and specified operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C support installation in industrial terminals and space-limited embedded systems.

CW-C19 Legacy Industrial PC FAQ

Is the CW-C19 suitable for replacing an older industrial PC?

Yes. Its Bay Trail processor, DDR3L memory, mSATA storage, serial interfaces and Windows 7 support make it suitable for some established industrial terminal and equipment replacement projects.

Required drivers, software and peripheral compatibility should be verified before replacing an existing computer.

Does the CW-C19 support Windows 7?

The motherboard documentation lists Windows 7, Windows 10 and Linux support.

Windows 7 may be required by older industrial applications, but network security, driver availability and software support should be evaluated before deployment.

Should I choose the J1900 or N2840 version?

The J1900 version provides four CPU cores and is better suited to multitasking and continuously running industrial applications.

The N2840 version provides two cores and may be sufficient for simple terminals, display systems and lightweight control software.

Can both COM ports operate as RS485?

Yes. COM1 and COM2 operate as RS232 by default and can be switched to RS485 through their corresponding motherboard jumpers.

The required interface mode should be configured before connecting external equipment.

Can the CW-C19 work with older serial equipment?

The two DB9 interfaces can connect compatible RS232 or RS485 devices, including some PLCs, scanners, controllers, measurement systems and access control equipment.

Compatibility depends on the device pin definition, protocol, baud rate, driver and control software.

Can I install both mSATA and SATA storage?

Yes. The CW-C19 provides one full-size mSATA slot and one SATA 2.0 connector. Both interfaces can be used for the operating system and local storage.

Can the CW-C19 be configured with four COM ports?

The motherboard can support up to four serial ports, but the additional interfaces require hardware modification and are not part of the standard configuration.

A four-COM configuration must be specified before production.

Does the CW-C19 restart automatically after a power outage?

Automatic power-on after power restoration can be enabled through the onboard AT/ATX jumper.

The hardware watchdog can also reset the system after certain operating-system or application failures.
